A day to be remembered

kelsey-polaWith 4,000 burgers sold, Saturday, Oct. 24 was a day to be remembered for all Kincaid’s fans.

Customer Appreciation Day at the original Camp Bowie location was set up as a thank you to all of the loyal customers who stood by Kincaid’s during its lease battle in 2007. After finally negotiating a fair lease, the Gentry family wanted to show their gratitude for all of the overwhelming support.

At the event, there was a memory box where customers could write their most memorable Kincaid’s experience. I’m looking forward to hearing those!

If you weren’t able to make it Saturday, I would still suggest taking a trip to a Kincaid’s near you  – it’s well worth it!

Talk about a grand opening…

kelsey-polaIf you’ve haven’t eaten a Kincaid’s burger yet, you haven’t lived. Kincaid’s has the real deal – a true hamburger with all the basics (i.e. ketchup, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles). The sides don’t take a backseat to the main entrée either – fries, deviled eggs, stuffed jalapenos, onion rings, fried okra – who wouldn’t love it?

And yes, I have tried all of these items, so I can vouch that they are all delicious in their own right. Don’t forget about the shakes either; they’re the best!

For all of you out in Weatherford, Kincaid’s just opened out there a few days ago.  The Gentry family was on hand for the ribbon cutting while owner Ron Gentry cut the ribbon.

Kincaid's Opening

I have to say the Kincaid’s burgers in Weatherford were good as they are in their five other locations!

I have a feeling I may turn into a hamburger soon with all this talk.
